Combining some of my favorite cooking styles, this meal includes hints of Middle Eastern and Mexican flavors.The burger with tzatziki alone will remind you of Lebanese or Middle Eastern eats…Add the crunchy fresh salad and beans and you have your Mexican twist. Any part of this recipe can be switched around or substituted for your favorite sauces, flavors, and salads. In cooking, one should always be brave, so try changing and adding things to suit your palate!
Burgers:
3 tbsp finely diced Red Onion
At least 6 leaves of Basil
Oregano (to your liking)
4 patties of lamb meat
1tbsp cumin
1 tsp nutmeg
S&P
Mix all ingredients and get ready to grill!
Beans:
1 can of Goya black beans
2-4 slices of maple bacon (cooked thoroughly and cut into small bits)
S&P
Cook bacon thru, remove bacon and cut into small pieces.
Throw beans in the same pan and mix together mashing some beans.
10 cherry or grape tomatos (cut in half)
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 ear fresh corn
cilantro (to your liking)
S&P
1 container of pre made Tzatziki
-Grill the burgers, plate the food (as seen above) and add your Tzaziki on top! ENJOY!
