Brussels sprouts are good for you. We’ve all heard it 100x. But what we don’t hear is how DELICIOUS they can be. Dress them up and you’ll see what I’m talking about…
Ingredients:
1 bag brussels sprouts, rinsed ends cut off and cut in half
3 pieces bacon (sure, add more if you MUST)
3/4 cup whipping cream
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil (optional, or you can add a tbsp of butter, which is what I normally do)
2 cloves garlic (or 3 small cloves garlic)
3 dates – diced
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
S&P
-Sauté the garlic in 2 tbsp of butter on low heat for 5 minutes. Be careful not to burn/brown the garlic.
-Add the brussels sprouts and sauté with the last tbsp of butter for a few minutes
-Add 1/2 cup of cream and sauté the brussels sprout in medium heat, you want to see some bubbles form in the cream.
-Add the Parmesan cheese and continue to simmer, add the rest of the cream, bacon and dates.
-Add S&P
Serve them up and enjoy ’em!!
