I treat my wraps like a salad. This wrap is no different. I’m going for a crunchy arugala flavor accompanied by a little turkey and cheese. My goal is to get as much green in there as I can!
Ingredients:
3 Slices of turkey
2 Pieces of cheese, I prefer Trader Joes goat Gouda
1 Large bunch of clean arugula (about 1 & 1/2 packed cups)
1 Tbsp honey mustard
1 Tbsp mayo
1 Whole Wheat tortilla shell
1. I like my cheese melted, so I use my toaster oven for this. I place my tortilla with the cheese on top in the toaster oven. I put it in there for about 5 minutes at 250 degrees, but you don’t want it to harden the tortilla shell. Keep an eye on it.
2. After I’ve melted my cheese, I spread the mayo and mustard on it.
3. Then I layer on my slices of turkey and pile on the arugula. If you’ve got some cherry tomatoes add them – cherry tomatoes improve everything for me. 🙂
4. Role it up, cut it in half and enjoy!
