Who doesn’t like tabouleh? It’s so fresh and goes with pretty much everything. If you’re not used to it, or havent tried it, think of it as middle eastern salsa.

The Other Washington
8 FebIt was a delicious trip to Washington. Complete with everything from homemade prosciutto grilled cheese (yes, which we made ourselves at our hotel) to proper prime rib. I’d say we’ve tried a variety of treats…

I enjoyed a salmon quiche with the largest beet salad I’ve ever seen. I kept turning to N saying, “Man, if we were in DC this baby would cost $12-15! I’ve never seen so many beets on a plate — and as a side salad?!? Wow.”
