Heirloom TBM Salad
18 JunEasy, fresh, salad. I love tomatoes, I eat this for dinner sometimes when Nick is traveling. And say whatever you want about today’s tomatoes, if you buy farmer’s market tomatoes, they are so delicious you don’t need anything but a sprinkle of salt and pepper in order to enjoy them.

23 MarFor the record, I used to hate beets. Hate. I mean that. Then I married Nick and started liking foods I had formally hated. Love can do weird things to you. I highly recommend it. And beets.

Endives are delicious and painless to clean, I highly recommend incorporating them into your diet if you haven’t already. Remember the color rule – you want to eat a variety of colors for your daily fruits and veggies.
Asparagus Soup
1 FebOk, I know it might sound kinda gross to you, especially if you don’t like asparagus, but it is truly fantastic. And these three ingredients should hook you in – butter, salty virginia ham, and cream. Yes, I always lead with what is most likely to give you a heart attack and THEN mix in some veggies! My goal is that by the time you’re done eating this soup you become an asparagus lover!
